Design Features and Working Principle

The UE207 bearing is an integrated unit component composed of a double-sealed outer spherical ball bearing and a cast (or stamped steel plate) bearing housing. Its most distinctive characteristic is that the outer diameter surface of the bearing's outer ring is spherical. This design enables it to engage with the concave spherical inner bore of the bearing housing, thereby providing an automatic self-aligning capability that compensates for misalignment caused by installation inaccuracies or shaft deflection

This bearing model is a variant of deep groove ball bearings, sharing the same internal structure. However, in this type of bearing, the inner ring is wider than the outer ring. Typically, there is a clearance between the bearing's inner bore and the shaft, allowing for fixation onto the shaft using set screws, eccentric collars, or adapter sleeves

. The housed unit is compact in structure, facilitates easy installation and disassembly, and features effective sealing, contributing to maintenance-free or low-maintenance operation . Its core operating principle is the substitution of sliding friction with rolling friction, which significantly reduces resistance between moving components.
