The CR series refers to a type of cam follower bearing designed with a cylindrical outer ring and an inner ring integrated with a stud shaft. Unlike the CF series (which uses a thick-walled outer ring), the CR series typically features a crowned (slightly curved) outer surface on the cylindrical roller or outer ring. This crowned design helps reduce edge stress concentration and misalignment issues, allowing smoother operation on uneven tracks or under minor alignment errors. The stud shaft is threaded for direct mounting, making it suitable for applications requiring high radial loads and moderate axial guidance, such as conveyor systems, cam mechanisms, and industrial automation equipment.
