 Thin-walled ball bearings are rolling bearings where the ratio of the inner diameter to the outer diameter is less than the specified value. The ratio of the outer diameter to the inner diameter does not exceed 1.25. They are named for their thin wall thickness. They are made of Gcr15 bearing steel or 440C stainless steel and have a constant cross-sectional design. They include models such as Reali-Slim, Ultra-Slim, and custom series. The products have high precision, compact structure and light weight, and are suitable for applications in fields that are sensitive to space and weight, such as robot joints, aerospace equipment, medical instruments, CNC machine turntables and automotive motors. This bearing can withstand radial loads and combined radial and axial loads. It has a low friction coefficient and a high limit rotational speed. It is classified into three types based on the contact angle: deep groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings and four-point contact ball bearings. During the manufacturing process, the heat treatment process needs to be optimized and dynamic load tests need to be implemented. Some models can replace cross roller bearings. Due to their thin wall thickness, special processes are required to control negative clearance and assembly height, and non-contact measurement technology is used to ensure the accuracy of the raceway.
