The seat-mounted external spherical shaft is a standardized component that integrates an external spherical ball bearing with a bearing housing. It belongs to the grease-sealed deep groove ball bearing unit. The outer ring of this component is designed with a spherical structure, which can be compatible with the bearing housing with a spherical inner hole. It has an automatic self-aligning function and is widely used in mining, metallurgy, agricultural machinery, and chemical equipment, etc. This bearing unit is mainly composed of a sealed external spherical ball bearing and a cast or stamped bearing housing. It comes in 12 specifications including vertical seat, square seat, and rhombic seat, and is divided into three series: UC type with set screws, UK type with conical holes, and UEL type with eccentric sleeves. It adopts a double-sealing structure and bearing housing oil nozzle design. It supports direct bolt installation and online grease replenishment, and can adapt to different inner hole clearances by using cotter pins, eccentric sleeves, or set screws for shaft fixation. Daily maintenance requires regular detection of accuracy, sealing performance, and lubrication status. When the wear exceeds the limit, replacement is necessary.
